In 2012, Chase Properties was given a National Award of Excellence from the Urban Land Institute recognizing their efforts for their urban infill development of luxury condominiums in downtown Jacksonville. By approving a progressive tax rebate package for the development which completely eliminates all risk to the taxpayers, the City of Jacksonville signaled its desire to move away from traditional incentive programs for downtown housing developments.
