Michael Balanky is the founder, President and CEO of Chase Properties. A third-generation Jacksonville, FL native with strong ties in the area’s business, governmental and non-profit communities, Michael has served on the Board of Directors for several of Jacksonville’s most notable companies and is very active in the non-profit sector. He is also a founding member of the Jacksonville Chapter of the Urban Land Institute.

Michael McGowan is a fourth-generation Jacksonville native. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in Applied Economics and minors in Business and Real Estate. Before joining Chase in 2014, Michael worked as a Leasing Advisor at The Shopping Center Group in Jacksonville. He has driven several projects over his tenure under direction of owner Michael Balanky, and specializes in such areas as site acquisition & development, commercial leasing, age-restricted community development, investment sales, & property valuation. He was an integral part of the team for "The District" developer, a $500m mixed-use project,  as well as the $100m+ retirement community "Parkland Preserve" at the World Golf Village, a 30-acre medical facility for Baptist across from Rayonier's "Wildlight" Community and several other retail and residential developments throughout the greater Jacksonville area.

Chase Balanky is a fourth-generation Jacksonville native. As a graduate of the University of Florida in Economics with minors in Business and Entrepreneurship, Chase spent ten years in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry driving sales for some of the biggest brands in the adult beverage industry. He managed multiple markets throughout the state of Florida for the largest premium wine and spirits supplier in the US, while consistently exceeding sales goals and delivering fiscal year plan achievements. Chase has seamlessly transitioned his skillset towards the real estate industry while quickly becoming a valuable asset to the team. Chase is proficient at conducting due diligence for potential real estate development projects including site selection, demographic analysis, density analysis and permitting.
