Chase Properties Closes on 275 Acres in St. Johns County
Parkland Preserve is a new 55+ community going into St. Johns County on 275 acres on Parkland Trail, just north of International Golf Parkway on the east side of Interstate 95.
Rummell announced in a news release Thursday that he has purchased the interest of Jacksonville developer Mike Balanky in the company Elements Development of Jacksonville LLC. Rummell and Balanky founded the development firm jointly.
The name changed but the unique concept forming the heart and soul of a vibrant, multi-million dollar residential and retail community planned for the Southbank of the St. Johns River downtown remains the same.
Out of more than 1,000 entries, the team behind the project have picked the name “The District — Life Well Lived — Jacksonville” for the project, which is slated to be built on land now owned by the JEA.
